I think this law that will take effect is a good way for society to strengthen against sex offenders on sites such as myspace, facebook or even AIM. But what will stop them from commititng these criminal acts when the controversy of this topic has been on the news over the past three years. Nothing has changed. Why and how would this law change the way these people think and do? We need to do more in order to keep our children safe.

Doesn't anyone inform them that email addresses, chat names, instant message screen names and the like can be changed in a heartbeat?

A better solution would be to ban their use of computers altogether, monitor them weekly with social workers, notify their cable providers that they are NOT to have internet access, and have checks and balances in place to thwart this type of behaviour, as well as mandate that they attend pornography addiction/ sexual addiction classes.

Great article. Thanks for pointing out that being conservative with energy is not a global warming issue.

Mounting evidence suggest that the whole global warming debate, which is NOT over, is mostly political and the science doesn't really back that up.

Global warming alarmist have made it difficult on people that conserve energy or have concerns about pollution, because now, they will be viewed on the same level. Some of us just want to save money. Some want cleaner air to breath. Some want to clean up our wetlands and waterways. Some want to get off of foreign oil. All are just causes, but sadly, are lumped in with the Chicken Little crowd.

We should put all of them in a boat and send them off the edge of the earth...

Thanks and sorry about the rant.
