His success has generated invitations to speak from over 200 groups, everywhere from South Dakota to South Florida. For the past three years he was asked to be a lecturer in the master’s degree Technology Management program at Georgetown University.
In addition to his 150+ blog posts, John has written 45 magazine articles for a wide variety of periodicals. His weekly column, "Ask the Computer Guy," ran for 10 years in The Washington Post.
John has been on National Public Radio affiliate WAMU 88.5 FM in Washington, D.C. since 1991. Also, he has conducted over 340 interviews for Federal News Radio WFED 1500 AM.
