Ontario Tech College’s Sensible Catalyst, an innovation and experiential studying hub designed to advertise new enterprise concepts, collaboration and partnerships, has constructed a robust status for empowering entrepreneurs domestically, nationally, and internationally.
Recognizing the extraordinary efforts and struggles that Black people and communities should overcome to construct an impactful enterprise, Sensible Catalyst has created the Black Entrepreneurship in Expert Trades (B.E.S.T.) Program in collaboration with the Toronto-based Dream Legacy Basis.
Funded by the Federal Financial Improvement Company for Southern Ontario, the B.E.S.T. program teaches aspiring entrepreneurs the way to create a profitable enterprise by means of custom-made modules and coaching. B.E.S.T. goals to arrange the subsequent technology of Black-identified Ontarian entrepreneurs as younger as 16 years outdated to launch profitable expert trades corporations.
B.E.S.T. college students full three modules centred round constructing, managing, and scaling a enterprise. The modules cowl numerous matters, together with design pondering and downside validation to certifications, high quality assurance and reaching prospects.
